Your contribution supports programs and services that help low-income residents move beyond poverty. Gifts to the foundation provide resources for education programs, senior services, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, financial coaching and job training for sustainable wage jobs.

We also provide funds to the Summit on Poverty in an effort to heighten awareness of the epidemic of poverty, its root causes, and what needs to be addressed to reduce this growing epidemic.

Offering support to the SD Foundation doesn’t require cash contributions. Learn more about our in-kind donation options below.

Thank you for supporting our efforts.

In-Kind Donations

People living in poverty are unable to afford items that many simply don’t see as an extravagant expense. Individuals and families are dependent upon the generosity of others in a position to help. Because of someone who takes it upon themselves to stop by a dollar store or pick up a few things when shopping for the week, low-income clients can have a toothbrush, washcloth, dish soap, and other critical items.

We welcome in-kind donations of school supplies, personal hygiene, or cleaning supplies for distribution to our customers. Silent auction items for SD Foundation FUNdraisers and events are also welcome.

Please email donate@sd-foundation.org or call the Social Development Foundation at 414.906.4616 if you are interested in making an in-kind donation.
